Purchase conditions for Fast Track preferential access

II. General terms and conditions of purchase of fast lane-fast track preferential accesses to security checkpoints and rules for their use at aena's airports

A. General terms and conditions of preferential Fast Lane accesses to security checkpoints at aena's airports

1. Purpose

This document contains the general terms and conditions for the purchase of Fast Lane preferential accesses for passengers to the security checkpoint at the network of Aena airports listed in table 1.

“Fast Lane” also referred to as “preferential access”, means the type of access whereby the passengers who purchase the service will have priority access to the security checkpoint through existing filters (or a dedicated filter in the case of Fast Track).

The purchase of each of the accesses entails full acceptance of these general terms and conditions and users are not able to claim prices other than those determined by the official rates contained in this document.

Procuring this service means a reduction in the waiting time to access the security checkpoints, taking into account that, in certain cases, the times may be equivalent to the ordinary filter if there are a low number of people at the airport.

Under no circumstances does use of this preferential access service at the checkpoint exempt users from complying with the security regulations, which apply equally to all the airport’s security checkpoints.

2. Purchases

The user may use the “Fast Lane” preferential access to the security controls at the airports listed in table 1, upon payment of the prices in force, through our website or the Aena mobile app.

For the online purchase you must provide the key details (name, surname(s), email address and phone number) requested by the system, without which it will not be possible to proceed with the purchase process. The price to be applied to each access is the official one approved by Aena for each airport.

When making the purchase, the system will provide a purchase confirmation email containing a locator number, a QR code and a file to download the electronic ticket with the QR code on a mobile phone, as passengers must provide this code to the staff at the corresponding security checkpoints when using the accesses acquired in the purchase. Possession of this number confirms and guarantees the purchase, which may not be modified.

The customer will have a maximum of 14 calendar days to cancel the purchase, provided that the service has not been used. We will proceed with the refund by using the same payment method that you use for the initial transaction.

To exercise the right of withdrawal of the purchase through an unambiguous statement (for example, a letter sent by postal mail, fax or email) you can use the model of withdrawal form (1) below, although its use it's not mandatory. In order to comply with the withdrawal period, it is sufficient that the communication relating to the exercise by this party of this right be sent before the corresponding deadline expires.

(1) Model withdrawal form

(You should only fill in and send this form if you wish to withdraw from the purchase)

  1. For the attention of Fastlane_Fasttrack@aena.es
  2. I/we hereby inform you that I/we withdraw from the purchase of the Fast Lane/Fast Track access and the provision of the following service:
  3. Booking locator
  4. Consumer’s name
  5. Address of the consumer and user or the consumers and users
  6. Signature of the consumer and user or the consumers and users (only if this form is submitted on paper)
  7. Date

The prices for individuals for the preferential accesses currently available at the airports managed by Aena can be viewed at: https://serviciosvip.aena.es/vip/en/

Children under the age of two (2) can gain access free of charge.

Only one preferential access right will be reserved for each purchase, which will be valid for 7 days following the date of purchase.

When the system so allows, a specific date and time will be reserved with the purchase to make use of the preferential access. You will be able to use the purchased access up to 30 minutes before and after the reserved time.

Attempts to use the preferential accesses outside the times specified in the preceding paragraphs will be invalid. Similarly, it is strictly forbidden to resell them, as a result of which Aena cannot be held liable for any potential fraudulent use of the codes.

3. The Access

Passengers may purchase specific preferential accesses for any of the airports in table 1. Passengers must first check the terminal for the flight for which they are entitled to obtain preferential access.

The acquisition of “Fast Lane” preferential accesses to the security checkpoints does not exempt passengers from undergoing these checks, nor from the application of any other filter or measure which the Airports may have in place for security reasons. Users of the preferential accesses must comply with the airport’s security regulations at all times.

At the security checkpoint the passengers must display their sales code (ID code) or locator together with their boarding pass. One ID code or locator and one boarding pass is required per person. The preferential access service code will be read first, followed by the boarding pass. Aena cannot be held liable for any missed flights due to passengers misusing their preferential accesses.

At the security checkpoint the passengers must display the purchase confirmation email containing the QR code or the e-ticket containing the QR code together with one boarding pass per person.

4. Other

Aena reserves the right to demand the corresponding liabilities for improper use of the Fast Lane preferential accesses purchase system via the website or mobile app or failure to comply with the rules set out in these general terms and conditions.

Users shall be held solely liable in the event that their use of the service is deficient, partial or erroneous or in the event that someone operates in their name or on their behalf by using the procedures and their identification code.

Aena reserves the right to cancel the access codes of users who misuse the above in accordance with these terms and conditions.

Aena cannot accept any liability for any interruption, inaccessibility or failure of any other kind that may occur during the operation of the system as a result of those that may occur in any telecommunications services or other ancillary services required for the operation of the system which are unrelated to the entity.

For operational reasons, Aena may modify the list of airports where the services regulated in this document and appearing in table 1 are available and update the rates.

Aena cannot accept any liability for passengers missing flights due to delays at the security checkpoints when they have not arrived at the airport sufficiently in advance.

Similarly, Aena cannot accept any liability for possible delays that may occur at the security checkpoints referred to in this document when said delays are caused by incidents that occur involving passengers during their access to the filters. Notwithstanding the above, Aena will take the measures within its power to reduce the delays and speed up the service.

The parties submit to the jurisdiction and competence of the Courts and Tribunals of the city of Madrid for any claims arising from these terms and conditions, unless a different jurisdiction is applicable by legal imperative.

B. Rules for the use of Fast Lane preferential accesses

  • During the process of accessing the checkpoints, users are asked to follow the instructions of the security personnel and hand over any personal belongings that may be requested by said personnel or the State Security Forces for inspection.
  • Under no circumstances does use of this preferential access service at the checkpoint exempt users from complying with the security regulations, which apply equally to all the airport’s security checkpoints.
  • Use of the preferential accesses regulated in this document does not exempt passengers from their obligation to undergo the security checks in good time before the departure of their respective flights, as indicated in their transport contracts.
  • In order to maintain the facilities in perfect condition, customers are requested to use the accesses responsibly and to inform the staff of any irregularities found at them.
  • To ensure proper use of the service, all the users, as well as those travelling with minors in their care, must maintain the rules of co-existence and avoid inconveniencing any other passengers.

  • A complaints and suggestions book is available to customers.
